Delhi – Nainital – Corbett - Shivpuri
Day 1 – New Delhi
Arrival in New Delhi – the capital of India and then transfer to your Hotel. New Delhi’s Art galleries and hotel disco’s are just as attractive as Old Delhi’s haphazard streets and primitive bazaars. Your guided sightseeing beings at Old Delhi’s Largest monument – Lal Quila, or the Red Fort, so named for its red sandstone walls. The Red Fort is also known as a good source for silver shopping. At Raj Ghat – the most famous of the ghats, where the leaders And freedom fighters are cremated – see the site of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation. Take Stroll along the Connaught Place – New Delhi’s thriving Business sector, brimming with fancy hotels and Flavorful restaurants. Later in the evening transfer to Nainital. Overnight Journey.
Day 2 – Nainital
Early morning arrive in Nainital - A small town in the hills of Kumaon. The life of Nainital revolves around the lake of Naini. Later in the day visit Naini Lake. Naini Lake or Naini Taal, the picturesque blue green lake is located in the district of Nainital. It is from this lake that the city of Nainital, the beautiful settlement by the lake, derives its name. Naini Lake is so called because of its eye-like shape. Tourists enjoy boating here or sit on the banks and feel the breeze coming from the lake. Finish at the mall road. On one of side of lake run the Mall road now named Govind Ballabh Pant Marg.
Day 3 – Nainital – Jim Corbett
This morning we start with the Rope way. This ropeway connects Snow-View Point (at 2270 m) with Nainital. Snow view as the name suggests offers an indescribably beautiful and breath taking picture of the glittering snows of Himalayas. Later in the afternoon make way to Jim Corbett. The Corbett Park is first national park of India established in the year 1936 it was named Hailey National Park.
Day 4 – Jim Corbett
Early morning leave for jeep safari to the national park which attracts a large number of species of birds, reptiles, turtles and tortoises. The tiger is the bigger attraction of this park. Other carnivores include the leopard, elephant, bear, hog, sambar deer, muntjac and fox. Later in the evening, depart for Shivpuri.
Day 5 – Shivpuri
Arrival in Shivpuri early morning. Later in the day, participate in an experiential learning activity – Rafting (16 kms). Later in the evening continue with team building games.
Day 6 – Train Journey
Early morning leave for station.
